Scholarships
Holy Cross School supports families from preschool through high school. Holy Cross families often receive financial support into Catholic high schools through scholarships with Rockhurst High School, Notre Dame de Sion, St. Teresa's Academy, among others.
Rockhurst Hurtado Scholars
Boy students are selected in the fifth grade to attend periodic programming in order to prepare them for a college preparatory high school. The mission of the Hurtado Scholars program is to support students who have great potential by making college preparatory education accessible. Students must attend Holy Cross from fifth to eighth grade to be eligible for the program.
Notre Dame de Sion and St. Teresa’s Academy
Both Notre Dame de Sion and St. Teresa's Academy offer special scholarships for girl students who excel at Holy Cross.
Richard and Olivia Mock Scholarships
The Richard and Olivia Mock Scholarships enable students to attend local Catholic High Schools at the same affordable cost their families pay to attend Holy Cross.

The Upper Room Program
The Upper Room offers an after-school and out-of-school (summer) program to Holy Cross students.
Students enrolled in the The Upper Room program will receive:
The Upper Room also offers a free summer academic program. The summer program is focused on supporting students out of school to prevent the academic slide that can occur during summer months. The program is designed to help working parents who are looking for a safe and educational environment for their children. The summer program is for students entering kindergarten to eighth grade and runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sporting Brookside
Sporting Brookside is a non-profit organization that is passionate about providing a fair, fun, and safe environment to Kansas City youth (ages 3-18) through soccer.
Holy Cross has teamed up with Sporting Brookside to offer students the opportunity to play together in a top-quality soccer program. Sporting Brookside delivers youth soccer programs that build positive character through participation in a fun and family-oriented soccer environment.
Take the Stage! : Teaching Excellence Through the Arts
Using the award winning National Dance Institute teaching techniques created over 35 years ago by NYC Ballet star Jacques D'Amboise, students learn to do their personal best and never give up. Kansas City Artistic Director and former member of the Kansas City Ballet, Rebka Sakati and a professional accompanist engage students in weekly classes throughout the school year that culminate in seasonal performances. Along the way, students learn to work together as a team, take risks, develop self-confidence, and achieve goals through self-discipline.
Eating from the Garden
Holy Cross students participate in the Eating from the Garden program in cooperation with the University of Missouri, Jackson County Missouri Extension, and Kansas City Community Gardens. Holy Cross schoolyard houses several raised garden beds from which students learn to grow and consume healthy and sustainable foods.
Eating from the Garden aims to promote the following healthy habits:
